About Your Coach

Ideal Clients

My journey with fitness began as a youth athlete competing in soccer and ice hockey. In high-school I suffered a substantial neck and back injury on the ice that got re-injured in college. While no longer able to participate in college athletics, I was lucky enough to began coaching teen athletes in 2011. I spent thirteen years trying various therapies with no lasting progress in healing my injuries. In my late twenties I started working with a corrective exercise specialist and slowly began to heal my back through strength training. Within months I discovered relief from pain and regained the ability to lift weights overhead. This success was the catalyst of my journey as a trainer, and in 2018 I began helping others learn how to heal their bodies from chronic injuries and pain. Seven years later and I am continuing to progress personal records on all my major lifts, and only occasionally throw my back out while getting out of bed.

I have an undergraduate degree in Psychology, and studied Cardiovascular Science at the graduate level. You may also find me coaching/attending group fitness classes at 410 Fitness, an LGBTQ+ staple in the Baltimore community.

I take great pride in helping people of all backgrounds, abilities, and experience levels feel welcome and confident in fitness environments. We would be an excellent match if you have realized you need guidance, accountability, and encouragement to initiate a lasting change in your routine.
